The Summer Long

Uttered heat of passion as the sun dresses the morrow,
we wake with pleasant smiles that demises sorrow,
we wear a taste of warmth that mocks winter,
we overcome scattered pieces of sad-worn faces that in our hearts hinder,
we are the captains of this ship and there to see to it that it never sinks,

we drop the anchor that manifests the ocean like a whale mating season,
we deliver a breeze so certain yet uncertain to this hungry world,
we feed souls with love and see to it that it never goes to rest with an empty stomach,
we bring brightness to their darkened space like a light-bug,,we are summer love!!
